Parco della Musika, a complex for public music in Rome, Italy, has three concert halls as well as an outdoor theater set in a park. Renzo Piano, an Italian architect designed it. [1] Jurgen Reinhold, Muller-BBM, was responsible for the acoustics in the halls. Franco Zagari was the landscape architect for outdoor spaces. Parco della Musica is located north of Rome's old center and houses most of the facilities at the Accademia nazionale di Santa Cecilia.

Sala Santa Cecilia has approximately 2800 seats. Sala Sinopoli is dedicated to conductor Giuseppe Sinopoli and seats about 1200 people. Sala Petrassi is dedicated to Goffredo Petrassi with 700 seats. Although they are structurally separated to soundproof, they are connected at the base by an uninterrupted lobby. The blobs, beetles, turtles and computer mice have been given nicknames due to their outer architectural form. [1] The Cavea outdoor theater is a reminiscence of ancient Greek and Roman performance spaces[1]. It's fan-shaped around an central piazza.

Excavations revealed the foundations for a villa and an old oil-press from the sixth century BC. Renzo Piano adjusted his design plan to accommodate the archaeological remains. He also included a small museum that would house artifacts found, which delayed the completion of the project by one year. [1] Parco della Musica opened its doors on 21 December 2002. It became Europe's most visited music venue within a few years. It was visited by more than two million people in 2014, making it the second most-visited venue for cultural music in the world after Lincoln Center in New York.
