It's finally May. This is my interpretation of the end spring. It is coming soon and the cool, pleasant weather will turn into hot and humid weather. San Diego will continue to experience better weather than the rest of the country, despite the fact that it is located in the middle of the country.
The Scottish Rite Valley in San Diego has many activities and events during May. Just finished our May Stated meeting on May 4, 2022. We welcomed our SGIG, Illustrious Frank Loui 33deg, and his lady Jeanie. We were able to honour our SGIG for the first time in a long time. Nearly 140 people attended the event, including a large contingent of Baja Californians led by Illustrious Isaac Tochijara Pulido (33deg). It was a wonderful evening for everyone!
The Annual Mother's Day Brunch was a great success on Sunday, May 8. The Honored Ladies Luncheon will be held on Friday, May 13. The Council of Kadosh is hosting both events. These events will be held for the first time in 2 years. We hope to have a great turnout at both events.
Our Spring Class Reunion is held in May. The weekend will begin with an orientation dinner on Friday, May 20th, followed by the full-day reunion on Saturday, May 21st. As part of Saturday's festivities, there will be a brunch and lunch. To make reservations for any of these meals, please contact the office or go to this website. Now is the perfect time to invite Master Mason friends to join Scottish Rite. This reunion will be large so we encourage all your Scottish Rite brothers to apply soon.
