In accordance with the latest provincial health orders, masks are not required in indoor public spaces. Masks are not mandatory in indoor public spaces. You can wear them as long as you feel comfortable. Respect each other.

Public skating sessions are not available online. Skaters can drop-in on a first come, first-served basis. Advanced online registration is required for drop-in sessions like stick and puck, public skating, figure skating, and sledge-hockey.

Kitsilano Rink is located near West Broadway & Macdonald St and is part of Kitsilano War Memorial Community Centre.

Skate lessons and programs for all abilities are offered at the ice rink, which is open from September through March. You can rent skates during public skate and lesson times.

We remove the ice from April through August for dry-floor activities like in-line hockey, ball hockey, trade shows and other special events.

Participants in lessons, classes and programs that involve skating must use a CSA-certified snowboard or hockey helmet. Public skate times are also encouraged. Registering program participants receive a limited amount of helmets at no cost. No helmets for cycling are allowed.
