The Adams Center, located at the base of Mount Sentinel, is a Missoula icon that provides entertainment in the mountains of Western Montana. It has been operating since the 1950s.
The Adams Center was named for Harry F. Adams, who devoted 44 years to UM. In 1998, the Adams Center received a $15 million renovation to improve the arena and add an auxiliary facility that houses the East and West Auxiliary Gyms as well as the Grizzly Hall Of Champions.
The Adams Center has become a center for entertainment in Western Montana. It hosts everything from University of Montana and Grizzly Athletics events to meetings, conferences and live theatre.
