Meet AC, Inc., is the sales and marketing team that supports Atlantic City Convention Center. The Atlantic City Convention Center has 486,600 square feet of exhibition space and 45 meeting rooms with an additional 109,100 square foot. It is the northeast's business address.
The Atlantic City Convention Center is New Jersey’s first convention center to achieve the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR accreditation. GBAC STAR is the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation for facilities. Spectra, who provides Venue Management, Food Service & Hospitality, and Partnerships to the facilities, have implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in its facilities. To achieve GBAC STAR™️ accreditation, Spectra was required to demonstrate compliance with the program’s 20 core elements, which range from standard operating procedures and risk assessment strategies to personal protective equipment and emergency preparedness and response measures.
The Atlantic City Convention Center was awarded LEED Gold certification. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) developed the LEED rating system. It is the most widely used program for homes and buildings that are built, constructed, maintained, and operated to improve environmental and human health performance. Strategies that have helped Atlantic City Convention Center improve its environmental performance, in preparation for LEED Recertification, include LED lighting retrofits, alignment of equipment operations and scheduled shows, ongoing preventive maintenance activities, bathroom renovation designs that include low-flow plumbing fixtures, as well as the launch of a robust recycling programme.
