A new driver to new manufacturing, IAMD BEIJING rounded off successfully
The three-day industrial automation event in Northern China -- IAMD BEIJING was packed full of exhibitors that present their cutting-edge solutions to continuously upgrading traditional manufacturing industry with new technologies and transforming to intellectual development. At the Beijing Exhibition Centre, IAMD BEIJING accommodated more than 200 well-known industrial leaders including Phoenix, Beckhoff, Cognex, Weidmueller, Pilz, Banner, IFM, Schmalz, Nord, Fuji, Rollon, Rittal, MINDMAN and CHELIC. These enterprises are leading in the industrial trends and pushing ahead with integrated development of the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence, smart logistics and manufacturing service industry. They showcased the integrated intelligent manufacturing solutions in five sections of control technology, mechanical infrastructure, sensor connector, digital plant and Application Park on a total display area of 20,000 sqm. The exhibition received nearly 100 buy groups from both China and abroad and 18, 238 visitors in total.
Industrial Integration Driven by Digital Transformation
As pointed out by President Xi Jinping at the CPC National Congress, China’s economy prefers high quality to high speed. The high-quality development of China’s economy couldn’t be achieved without improving the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing industry. The integration of informatization and industrialization and realization of better quality, higher efficiency, and more robust drivers of the manufacturing industry are imperative to the high-quality development of the Chinese manufacturing industry. Notable enterprises such as Phoenix, Rittal, Weidmueller and Beckhoff brought their innovative products and technologies to the show.
Gary Liu Managing Director of the Organizer—Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., said, “This year, we update the exhibition name and logo for IAMD BEIJING at the same time, aiming to facilitate complementary integration of the automation and transmission section and providing a demonstration platform for accelerating the growth of emerging industrial clusters.” He hoped that IAMD BEIJING could make its due contribution to the new growth of China’s economy by focusing on new industrial drivers and new manufacturing.
“Application Park” Hits the Market
Apart from leading enterprises present, the exhibition launched “Application Park” again this year, which was well-received in the market. This is because the organizer could grasp the market pulse, highlight the development trend of the application industry and select four hot topics intelligent manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, agriculture equipment manufacturing, intelligent packaging in the Application Park section. Exhibitors were invited to deliver thematic speeches on related industrial applications and jointly explore intelligent production applications and solutions, so as to help major manufacturers transform from a supplier role to a provider of intelligent manufacturing solutions. Eplan, Grantech, Schmalz, Cognex, Beckhoff, Pilz, Nanda, Banner, and ICP DAS brought their brand-new smart solutions to industrial application and shared innovative technologies and concepts in face of the trend of Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing in China.
In addition to attracting many exhibitors, the Application Park was also highly acclaimed by onsite visitors. As the most important activity concurrently held with IAMD BEIJING, the International Intelligent Manufacturing Conference was held on the first exhibition day, with the theme of “New-Generation Intelligent Manufacturing”. Besides, the inauguration ceremony of the International Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance Preparatory Committee was held as well.
