The response was excellent. We've had at least 12 serious customers from Italy, Russia and Singapore. Our designs are very popular. We will continue to talk about the order.
Business matching meetings on the first day of the exhibition led me to three new suppliers for kitchenware and silk bedding sets from Hong Kong and Mainland China. We'll place larger orders, which usually range between US$20,000 and US$200,000 depending on the products.
We have met buyers from Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as other Southeast Asian nations. Our collections have also attracted the interest of two buyers from Mainland China, as well as a Hong Kong-based company. One of them is a large department store group in Qingdao, who plans to buy our embroidered napkins. When it comes to ordering, large clients prefer less variety and more quantity. Some customers prefer a greater variety of items, but fewer quantities. These orders can be handled flexibly.
Three new suppliers of rugs and carpets from India have been found. The price details will be sent to me. Further negotiations will take place regarding the amount of orders. Normal orders usually cost around US$20,000. This fair is great because it brings everything together under one roof. I find a variety of products and exhibitors from different countries, such as India and Mainland China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
