Australian manufacturing will be the star in a new industry showcase next month. This is the launch of Australian Manufacturing Week.
Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL), has announced the launch Australian Manufacturing Week. This industry exhibition will cover all aspects of manufacturing in Australia.
AMTIL has been operating Austech since 2000. It is Australia's most important advanced manufacturing and machine-tool exhibition.
Austech 2019 attracted industry professionals from Australia and around the globe to see more than 170 companies displaying state-of-the art manufacturing software, hardware and support services.
AMTIL's Australian Manufacturing Week is expanding its exhibitions portfolio. It will present a greater showcase of Australian manufacturing. The inaugural Australian Manufacturing Week will take place in Sydney from 7-10 June 2022.

Australian Manufacturing Week was launched following the announcement that Reed Exhibitions had decided to stop operating its National Manufacturing Week (NMW). NMW is an annual event that has been held every year since 1999 at locations that alternate between Sydney and Melbourne. NMW has been held at the same time as Austech for 20 years. AMTIL saw the opportunity to create a larger event that showcases the diversity and scope of Australia's manufacturing industry.
