The measurement is important for the development of scientific and technological innovations, industrial growth, national defense, and people's security. It also helps to build an integrated strategic system. Shanghai Metrology Expo organizers hope to use exhibitions and forums to promote exchanges of measurement and test technology both at home and abroad and to help implement the "14th Five-Year Plan" for National Economic and Social Development and Vision 2035 of People's Republic of China. The Expo, relying on the high demand from China's consumers, will create an international metrology industry event in Shanghai, China, through product exhibition, trade negotiations, and technical exchange.
