Robot Day celebrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths for all ages. These events highlight the importance of robotics in society and increase public awareness about issues related to robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation. Robotday.co.uk/about has more information.
Participants are invited to join Ashley James Brown, a digital artist, to create a virtual reality world. To celebrate Robot Day, Ashley will teach you animation and modeling. To create a future-imagining landscape, you will use a 3D game engine environment. You will create futuristic flying cars and illuminated skyscrapers, or natural landscapes with bizarre creatures. What role might robots play in creating this future landscape? It is not necessary to have any VR or 3D modeling experience, but you should be familiar with the basics of using a keyboard, mouse, and computer.
Inspiration Rover was created by a group of University of Derby students who were passionate about electronics and wanted to push themselves on a different project. You can control the rover by joining us at QUAD.
