This year, the boatica Cape Town show celebrated its 21st birthday from October 27th through October 29th.
Boatica, the platform of choice for the blue-ocean economy, showcased once again an impressive display from South African manufacturers. The land marquee displayed a wide range of boating accessories, equipment and other boating-related products. Despite the bad weather, over 3200 people attended. Attendees from nine different countries were also present.
Media Day: The Media Day, which took place on October 27th, was a great success. It attracted a lot of attention, both from the press and exhibitors. The event provided a great opportunity for key industry stakeholders to establish connections and network.
Five notable boat launches were revealed at boatica 2023, adding excitement and anticipation. The Cape Racing Yachts' unveiling of the Evo 18 S and Yamaha's new F200 Outboard Motor, UX Marines' revolutionary UX Spin and the ground-breaking MiniCat all contributed to the success and buzz of the event.
