The Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering & Packaging in Munich and the Technical University of Munich hosted the inaugural edition in 2017. For the first edition, a group of food scientists, academicians and industry leaders met in Munich. This conference has since grown to be the most well-known in Europe.
