Guangdong Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, also known as the Greater Bay Area, is made up of two administrative regions in Hong Kong and Macao, as well nine cities at the prefecture level in Guangdong Province. It covers an area of 56,000 km2 and is home to 70 million people. This region is important in the overall development of China.
