Whistler25th Annual Con Brio Whistler Music FestivalFor Symphonic Bands, Wind Ensembles, Drumlines, Orchestras, Chamber Choirs, Concert & Symphony Bands, Drumlines, and Jazz BandsCon Brio Whistler Music Festival is a non-competitive three-day music festival that includes a grading system. It takes place annually in Whistler Village - a beautiful village located 90 minutes north of Vancouver. Con Brio Whistler, which has been running for 24 years, transforms Whistler Village every year into a huge Band, Orchestra, and Choir Camp. This culminates in a massive choir of 500 singers, a large string ensemble of 1,800 musicians, and a massed band of 1,800 players. All participants can enjoy a safe and walkable village. The Whistler Conference Center, Hilton and Westin Conference Facilities and Maury Young Art Centre are the main activity centres.Con Brio Whistler Music Festival has five categories of festival that run simultaneously.Concert Band Concert & Chamber ChoirSymphony/String Ensemble Jazz/Stage BandDrum LineWe welcome ensembles of all sizes, with a balance of instruments and vocals.
