What is HORTI CHINA?

As one of the highlights of China Green Week, HORTI CHINA is an international exhibition connecting China with the world-wide horticulture business of fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, and plants. The first edition reached 27,000 sqm and divides its product categories between pre & post-harvest, Horti Tech & Horti Fresh. 

With its international scope and communication concepts, HORTI CHINA is dedicated to accelerating the development of China's vegetable, flower, and fruit industry, by means of technology and equipment improvement, talent scouting and community building, branding, as well as facilitating direct trade and purchasing of fresh produce by professional buyers. 

HORTI CHINA will also assist in the development of a sustainable, safe and environmentally friendly supply chain within China's horticulture industry. It will create a connection platform where top-end, high-tech suppliers and producers will interact with providers of medium-tech, efficient technology and large volume producers, wholesalers and retailers. Key elements in this strategy are technical advice, project management and staff training, brand marketing, financing and other services. 

 Within the Chinese fresh produce industry value chain, HORTI CHINA focuses on the fields of protected cultivation, handling & processing equipment and technology, preservation and cold-chain logistics. HORTI CHINA’s clear aim is to help speed up the industry’s much-needed progress to higher levels and to stimulate innovation in all links of the chain.
