The Lahti exhibition center will open the summer season with Pihapiiri on the weekend of the 26th-28th April. Pihapiiri is the much-anticipated spring opening for gardeners, green thumbs and summer lovers. The event is a multi-faceted one that offers a variety of products and ideas for home and cottage gardens, terraces and balcony.
Pihapiiri is the place to make your first spring yard purchases and receive the best outdoor tips and ideas - whether it's for gardening, yard decorations, commercial farming, or even for the summer parties next year!
The Pihapiiri Fair's program includes information about pot cultivation, selecting summer flowers and garden plants and establishing a vegetable garden organically. It also offers tips on how to grow cut flowers, create the flower bed you want and establish an organic vegetable patch. Also, there will be information on how to compost successfully and advice regarding yard permits.
