TPS is an important industry event that provides a platform for engineers and technicians to exchange ideas. TPS has been around for 49 years and is renowned for its impact in the turbomachinery, pumping, oil & Gas, petrochemicals, power, chemical, water, and aerospace industries.
The TPS Technical Program is selected by advisory committees comprised of industry leaders and practitioners who are highly respected in their respective fields. The topics include maintenance, reliability and troubleshooting. Instruction on emerging technologies, best practices, and instruction on emerging designs are also covered.
The Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia are organized by the Turbomachinery Laboratory. This is a part of Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, a unit of Texas A&M University System.
The Turbomachinery Laboratory also hosts ATPSExternal link: The Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium is held biennially in Kuala Lumpur. The Turbo Lab offers short-term continuing education courses in Houston and Kuala Lumpur.
