Roy is known for being the architect of the modern food truck movement through Kogi BBQ. He combines food and social media with community, and honors the street food culture which paved the way. Roy is host of the Emmy Award-winning series 'Broken Bread', which focuses on civic responsibility on KCET/Tastemade. On a larger scale, Roy is also co-host on the Netflix series 'The Chef Show,' featuring Jon Favreau.
He is a voice for street food culture, both past and present. He is the co-owner, founder, and chef at Kogi BBQ and Chego!.
