Celebrate Pittsburgh's passion for food at Hometown-Homegrown(tm) where more than 40 local food and drink vendors will be on-site to share delicious samples of their tastiest food and drinks - plus activities for the whole family to enjoy throughout the museum.
Sample some of Pittsburgh's favorites from names such as Isaly's Wholey's Prantl's 5 Generation Bakers, Isaly's. Discover a few new favorites as you try some of the "newbies'" in the Pittsburgh food scene.
The five floors of fun-filled food for the entire family include live cooking demonstrations by local chefs in the kitchen, tasty bites provided by the best purveyors, restaurants, and purveyors, and information about the culinary history of Western Pennsylvania.
The Hometown-Homegrown(tm) event (including food samples and activities) is included with regular History Center admission and is free for History Center members. Join today! Admission includes all History Center exhibits.
