Great location next door to Metro exit. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet quite good. Free internet. Shopping centre next door. Highly recommended for trade fair buyers. Will definitely stay again if the room rates stay at reasonable levels.

In the context that we were only there 48 hours, the rooms were good as we happened be attended to by the front office manager and staff who were responsive as we talked in English. But hotel facilites were near-Hong Kong prices ( expensive). Location to railway, exhibition ,shopping and, food restaurants within walking distance - good. The younger people in the underground route to the Canton Fair were very helpful, but the older corowd were loud,uncouth, so be warned. We tried elsewhere in the underground to the main domestic station, the people were uncouth unsurprisingly - not much changed from my experienece in Guangzhou in 1980 when I visited the same Canton Fair then. Yes,we will return to the Majestic Hotel next year .It is good enough for me and my wife.

Firstly: I am the wife of B. Stilings.I was most impressed with the English speaking staff at the front desk. The daily housekeeping was most efficient and our rooms were made up in a timely fashion. The breakfast buffet was excellent and we really appreciated the shuttle to the trade fair daily.

I have been staying in Majestic Hotel for the last 4 times and each time I have been impressed less and less particularly this last time in October'09. I booked one king bed room for two persons but when I got into hotel I was given a single room. Room was very small but I paid the same. Moreover, the air blow from the air conditioning in the room was directed to me when I slept on the bed. As a result, I got a very bad cold and needed to see doctor when I got back to my country.

We were very happy with our stay with them. Defintely will stay with them again.

Your ability to hold a room for us was exceptional. Thank you. I hope the waiting time can be reduced if overbooking issue occurs in the future; I would suggest Majestic not to overbook hotel during Canton Fair, to avoid unnecessary waiting and aggravation.

It was nice and professional

The hotel is good and the staff very friendly, only in the first night when I arrived , I was told my room was not confirmed dispite of showing them the confirmation number. As a result I had to stay in a different hotel the first night. Location of the hotel is also good , close to downtown.

I was very happy with the hotel I would stay there again.
